Attention pls..

Important Notice :

Those who are coming for the debate finals this Thursday pls be reminded that SHORTS/SANDALS/SLIPPERS are NOT ALLOWED. BE DECENT.(for boys as well.)

Some Tan Sri is coming, so we're suppose to look "presentable" and smart. =)

duties for debate.

Duties!!!

5 ppl (including bod in charged) as secretariat (Balloting) station at exit 6
cannot leave the station unattended.
laptops and all will be there. pls take shifts to eat.
winners of the debate for every round will be brought to this station.

1 runner in the room. (there are 11 rooms so 11 runners)
the runner inside the room is suppose to stay there at all times. watch the debate..
if adjudicators or chairperson or whatever needs anything, let the runners outside the room know.

2 runners outside the room
receives orders from the runner inside the room. if the adjudicator or whatever needs something, its your duty to go do it. once done, go back to your station post.
if possible, make sure there is one runner left outside the room.

after each round, make sure you put new a4 papers and water bottles on the desk for the next round of the debate.
one runner pls make sure the chairperson and timekeepers are fed! bring them food! because they are not allowed to leave for food or whatever.

The real debate is coming up soon ( thats like next week!) ! I therefore need help from you awesome people! =) its during the weekdays. So PLSSSS volunteer if you are available/having break time!!! The time slots are mentioned below..


13th april - SET UP!
For this, i need about 25 ppl !
we're only allowed to set up when classes ends/college is over for everyone..so we can only do it in the evening. And we might need to stay back till 10-11pm something..so be prepared! Time is not exactly confirmed yet, so do check the blog for updates!

meet at cmd, main block at 4pm. those with lan classes, come after lan. should be done by 11 something. boys..if possible stay back till 12 or later (just incase). girls, if you need to go back earlier, you can..but not earlier than 11. but pls stay if u can!

14th April - ALL REQUIRED TO COME
First Round (64 teams) (1st session from 11am-1pm, 2nd session from 2pm-3:30pm and 3rd session from 4pm-5:30pm) (11 sessions each)


15 April '09 - ALL REQUIRED TO COME
Second Round (32 teams) (1st session from 9:30am-11pm, 2nd session from 12noon-1:30pm) (8 sessions each)


16 April '09 - ALL REQUIRED TO COME
Octo Final and Quarter Final (16 teams and 8 teams) (1st session from 10:00am-11:30am, 2nd session from 1pm-2:30pm) (8 sessions each)


22 April '09 - 10 ppl will do.
Semi Final (4 teams) (afternoon 2pm)


30 April '09 - 10 ppl will do.
Final (2 teams) (afternoon 2pm)


not to worry, Mr. Yap has already send in a letter to the A-levels department to excuse us from classes.

There'll be a chinese quiz on the 23rd & 24rd of April and I need 20 ppl who can speak mandarin to come help out!
