important news.

1)There would be a talk this Saturday, December 5th 2009 from 10.00am -
12.30pm.
Parents are invited and invitation cards would be available
from tomorrow onwards. Please ask the SASA students to come over to CMD
to collect the invitation cards to be given to their parents. The
speaker of this talk is from Dr Paul Chan, so get every SASA students
and their parents to come.

(yes,the talk is for us..SASA 2009 group.)

2)I need some people to come in on Wednesday (2/12) and Thursday (3/12) to call people
up for the SASA Dining Etiquette. I also need them to call our own SASA
students for Paul Chan's talk on Saturday.


3)7 people are needed on Saturday (5/12) and Sunday (6/12) from 9am - 5pm. Please try
and get them to come.


4) Sean Soon needs a couple of sasarians to help him take pictures of people (friends/random ppl (just as long as their HELP students)
for a HELP banner thing. He needs 1000 solo shots! Anyone with a camera, pls do help the poor boy..

Padang Earthquake Relief.

Dear Sasarians,

We are helping the Indonesian Students Society to get donation for the Padang Earthquake Relief.
Hence, I need 2 SASArian's per slot.

SASA Awards

Obviously we can't be singing for THAT long...so we'll probably leave earlier.

Karaoke

First off, a big THANK YOU to everyone for helping out with the debate over the past three weeks. You guys were awesome. And to those who missed the finals, King George V beat Assunta to take home the challenge trophy (Nooo!).

Anyway, to get to the next event. We want to have a karaoke session. It'll be sometime next weekend, if we can get CMD people to take leave, we'll go after the Career Sense talk on Friday. That way, we can all tumpang whoever drives to college. If not, it'll be on Saturday or Sunday afternoon/evening. Maybe have dinner there. 

I'd like some feedback really soon so I can give you proper details. So, does anyone have suggestions on where we can go? Are you able to come? Anything else that comes to mind, please do let me know.

Duties!!!

5 ppl (including bod in charged) as secretariat (Balloting) station at exit 6
cannot leave the station unattended.
laptops and all will be there. pls take shifts to eat.
winners of the debate for every round will be brought to this station.

1 runner in the room. (there are 11 rooms so 11 runners)
the runner inside the room is suppose to stay there at all times. watch the debate..
if adjudicators or chairperson or whatever needs anything, let the runners outside the room know.

2 runners outside the room
receives orders from the runner inside the room. if the adjudicator or whatever needs something, its your duty to go do it. once done, go back to your station post.
if possible, make sure there is one runner left outside the room.

after each round, make sure you put new a4 papers and water bottles on the desk for the next round of the debate.
one runner pls make sure the chairperson and timekeepers are fed! bring them food! because they are not allowed to leave for food or whatever.

The real debate is coming up soon ( thats like next week!) ! I therefore need help from you awesome people! =) its during the weekdays. So PLSSSS volunteer if you are available/having break time!!! The time slots are mentioned below..


13th april - SET UP!
For this, i need about 25 ppl !
we're only allowed to set up when classes ends/college is over for everyone..so we can only do it in the evening. And we might need to stay back till 10-11pm something..so be prepared! Time is not exactly confirmed yet, so do check the blog for updates!
